About the last 5 years I really started to notice it. The top of my head was still mostly dark, maybe 95% but the sides not so much, maybe 75%.I even cut off my goatee as I didn't like the amount of gray in it. Being somewhat hairy, I noticed that my chest hair turned almost white. I had been using Grecian Formula twice a week to control the gray in my hair. It worked reasonably well but still left about 50% gray on the sides. That's when I decided to try these pills, figuring, "what do I have to lose?". At the same time, I stopped using Grecian Formula to see if it at least kept up with it. In less than two weeks I can honestly say that the hair on the side of my head seemed to be no worse than when I used the Grecian Formula. Perhaps It was no better either.
