This is my fourth month of use (on my second pack). I saw results in my third month. It works but there are a few things to take note of.

1. It is not convenient to put on. It runs off as you apply and take time to dry.
2. It seemed to cause fatigue when I started using it. I stopped using it during to day and I was no longer tired.
3. It causes dandruff and it itches, a lot. I sometimes wake up at night scratching my head, literally. From the instructions, I am supposed to stop using it.
4. Leaves "white" patches in areas of application. These can wash off but are visible. This is minor though

It should be cheaper but you can get a $10 off coupon from their website. If it did not work, I wouldn't have bought a second pack.

I've been using this for about 2 1/2 years now. One application a day in the mornings, across the entire top of the scalp. And basically, my hair loss has completely stopped and I've seen minor regrowth across the entire application area. Enough to feel the thickness a bit more and enough to attempt more ambitious hairstyles again. Like other reviewers, it took me about 3 months before I noticed effects, and in that time I had a lot of itching and dryness. I had been using it 2x/day as recommended, and cut back to 1x/day, and also started using an anti-dandruff/anti-itching shampoo, which mostly alleviated the issues. Though I do still have minor itchiness, the hair growth is completely worth it to me.

PROS:
- It works. Stick with it, be diligent and patient, and you'll see results.

CONS:
- Dry/itchy scalp. But this can be mitigated with the right shampoos.
- It's kind of oily and weird. So if you apply it in the mornings, you have to figure out... Read more

I actually purchased this for my husband and it does take a while to work, so he is not yet seeing results. I however, have been using Rogaine for women since last July and I can't believe the results. I am a 49 year old woman who has always had thin hair. After the birth of my children it got worse. Last summer I was loosing so much hair I asked my hair-dresser what to do. She suggested Rogaine. My hair is so much thicker now, I can't see my scalp anymore. I would recommend this product to anyone with thinning hair. It is wonderful.

My hair was gray for many years and I never tried to dye it. I just tried Grecian Formula for two weeks and know has an almost natural color. I am only concerned, for any possible side effects for the lead ingredient in the formula. But so far, it worth the amount paid.

1. The liquid is easier to use than the cream - Youthair. But the cream is cheaper.
2. If you wear your hair short - i.e. a crewcut, Grecian is sort of difficult to use because it takes a while for the hair to take on color
3. It looks more natural than conventional hair colors
4. I don't think the lead is such a serious danger; hair dye is dangerous anyway. Wash your hands a lot if you use it.
5. Overall, a good product - the natural gray/dark color you get is good.

This stuff worked very well for making the 27 hairs on my head look like 42. Well, that's a slight exaggeration, but only slight. Thyroid meds have thinned my hair alarmingly and the problem is not going to improve. I have those deep, inverted "V's" at the sides of my forehead and have to work hard at a partial comb-over to cover them, so when I read about this product, I was excited. I have baby fine, thin hair that has always been a problem but now it's worse. I bought the light brown and it was a good match for my hair, which I dye light ash brown . There weren't very good instructions on how to apply it, so I just used it like a salt shaker and put it on the thinnest areas and worked it in with my fingertips. It worked well, too, and gave my hair a heavier feel but did not color the skin of my scalp. When I looked in the mirror, I felt that it lived up to the description.
