Consumer Reports rates this product superior at covering gray so I bought it even though I'm female. It's ammonia free so it left my hair very soft and covered gray very well. The only problem is that the light brown (my natural hair color)is really more of a dark brown. My kids thought my hair looked "black." I have shoulder-length hair and there was plenty of product to color it all but I did not have any left over.

Update: It's been over two months since I used this product and I have to give it more stars because of how long the gray coverage has lasted! Only a few are peeking thru. It's lasted much longer than the higher-priced L'Oreal Paris I used to use.

I have been using the grogranics head full of hair topical treatement for a little over a week and the results are phenomenon. I have noticed fast new growth especially since I had just gotten a relaxer a week before. The jar says "you will be amazed at the fast hair growth." I'm truly amazed because I was having problems with the crown of my hair regrowing. I went to a dermatologist and was prescribed to use clobex, which didn't give me fast results like this. My beautician recommended that I try the groganics topical scalp treatment, which I did try and I ordered a jar of it but the head full of hair treatment caught my attention so I ordered that too. I started using the regular groganics topical scalp treatment in the crown area first and I was seeing a little change in the area but I saw rapid change when I started using "Head full of Hair." I part my scalp and apply it to the problem area and I have noticed that the area that wouldn't grow in years is starting to have hair... Read more

Just started using this product, for two days so far and although it is suppose to be a cream, it is a greasy cream. It leaves my hair greasy and stiff. I was told by the company that this is the "non-greasy product." I am going to give it time to work, however the greasy aspect of it makes my hair look thinner after I apply it to my scalp. I am going to try it as an overnight, and wash it out in the morning.

I have been using this product for some time now... I can honestly say that it worked for me. Me edges were badley damaged from tight braids and chemicals etc... As soon as I started using "Head Full Of Hair" my hair started growing right away. I haven't seen this much growth in years. I love this product and recommend it to all...

Best shampoo ever! The only REAL shampoo I've ever used! The first time I used it, I wondered why I had spent 28 years using junk on my hair.

This really gets your hair cleaner than anything! You run your fingers over the wet hair, and it literally squeaks clean! There is no waxy residue like many other commercial shampoos leave in your hair. I was a little worried it would leave my hair unmanageable, but it came out so soft and no tangles! Adds quite a bit of body and bounce.

It's supposed to have ingredients that help you grow even more hair, and one thing I've noticed is that a lot less hair comes off my head when I brush now.

The MAIN reason I got this shampoo is because it has NO sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates! That stuff is used in clinical trials to IRRITATE the skin so that they can test lotions and creams. It causes an allergic reaction in some people, builds up in your skin and can hurt your immune system. I really wanted to get away from it... Read more

I love this shampoo. I invested in some Nioxin after lots of people suggested it, and I couldn't tell much of a difference, but I always figure buying shampoos to make a huge difference on your hair was a bit of a crapshoot anyway, so I didn't hold it against Nioxin. But then on a whim I bought some of this at the grocery store last month, and I swear I can tell a difference. I lost a lot of hair due to poor diet and high stress (paired with significant weight loss) at the end of the summer, and for the first part of the fall I was so insecure and self conscious about my hair. I've tried to keep up with some vitamins and have been eating a lot better, so I'm sure that plays a part in the change in my hair, but I swear this shampoo has also made a difference when no other shampoo ever has before. My hair is babyfine and flat and losing ANY of it was frustrating. It really does feel thicker now.

This product is guaranteed to add at least 10% fullness to your hair after the first application.

It has mild botanical cleansing agents and fruit acids. It not only cleanses your hair, it helps to purify your scalp. Polysorbates free your scalp of excess cellular debris which can block hair follicles.

He doesn't use the conditioner, but I love using
it with this product.
